MEMBERSHIP

Membership levels

There are 3 levels of membership at JobsCity.NET.

FREE MEMBERSHIP is, as it sounds, absolutely free. It comes with keyword/geographic resume searching, free job postings, a means to manage resumes and job postings, two automated resume alerts, and more... We intend to keep a level of FREE MEMBERSHIP for years to come.

BASIC MEMBERSHIP allows more detailed descriptions of jobs, postings to 2 locations, higher job search ranking than FREE postings, 250 search results limit, use of the Advanced Search with its 20+ search criteria, more resume alerts, and a link to the company's homepage.

PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP provides the highest member privileges. It comes with all the privileges enjoyed by BASIC MEMBERS, and adds 500 search results limit, higher job search ranking than FREE and BASIC postings, and ability to redirect applicants to company's own online application page.

Number of Account Users

The number of Account Users that comes with the Free Membership is only 1. This means that there is only one login given. Since there can be no more than one instance per login, multiple people using one login is awkward because they will alternately be logging each other out.

The number of users of the Basic and Premium Membership depends on the number of users purchased. The rate per user in Basic Membership is US$150/monthly; and US$300/monthly for Premium membership. Upgrade Now.

RESUME SEARCH

Keyword Search

Allows you to find resumes which contain the keywords you entered for the search. Examples of keyword/s include "computer", "oracle", "financial accounting", "CFO", "project manager", etc. You must select the location where you want to find such resumes. Available to all memebers.

Advance Search

Use this for more detailed or 'filtered' resume searches. You can specify criteria such as City, Education, Title, Industry, Experience, Salary, etc., to yield more qualified resumes. Only paid members (Basic and Premium) have access to the Advance Search.

Search Results Limit

Even if the database contains more matches for that particular search, Free members can only view a maximum of 25 resumes per search, or 50 resumes per search for Enhanced Free Members. At no cost, Free members can upgrade to Enhanced status simply by adding a link to JobsCity.NET from your company homepage.

Paid Basic members can retrieve a maximum of 250 matches and 500 matches for Paid Premium members. Upgrade Now.

Resume Views per Month

Free Members can view the candidates' resume details a maximum of 10 times a month, or 20 times a month for Enhanced Free Members. Once Free Members reach the limit, they cannot view resume details of any candidates for the remainder of the current month. They will have to wait until the next month when their count is automatically reset to zero for a fresh 10 to 20 Resume Views for the new month.

Basic and Premium Members can view an Unlimited number of resumes per month (this applies to all countries except the Philippines which may have different upgrade packages with specific monthly resume views. Currently, the Philippine Basic Upgrade comes with 250 resume views and Premium comes with 500). Upgrade Now.

Contacts Per Month

Free Members are allowed to contact candidates 10 times a month, or 15 for Enhanced Free Members. Sending a job, or a message to a candidate counts as a "Contact". Receiving a resume from a job seeker applying to one of your jobs also counts as a "Contact". Once Free Members reach the limit, additional contacts for the month will not be permitted unless the account is upgraded. Free Members who have reached their contact limit and who choose not to upgrade can wait until the beginning of the next month when their limit is automatically reset.

Basic and Premium Members can make unlimited number of contacts per month.

Resume Alerts Limit

This is the maximum number of active Resume Alerts a member can have. Free members can have up to 2, while paid members can have up to 10.

Resume Alerts Frequency

Free members have no frequency options for their Resume Alerts. Resumes matching their resume alerts are sent every 7 days.

Basic and Premium Members can choose Resume Alerts Frequency of every 1, 2 or 7 days in which they receive matches to their resume alert.

JOB LISTING

Search Rank

Job search results are ranked first by the membership level, then by date posted. It means that all Premium postings will be ranked higher than Basic and Free postings, and similarly, all Basic postings higher than Free postings. All Free postings will be displayed after paid postings and sorted by date posted in descending order. Upgrade Now.

Maximum Number of Characters

Location Submit

A FREE Member is allowed to post their job listing to only one (1) location, while Basic and Premium Members can post their job listings to two (2) locations.

Expiration

Job listings of all members (Free, Basic and Premium) expires after 3 months.

Number of Jobs Included (Job Posting Slots)

FREE Members start with 3 Job Posting Slots, but the number may decrease to 1 or increase to 5 depending on usage. The number indicates the maximum number of jobs the system will allow you to post at any given moment. Thus if you have 5 Job Posting Slots, you can expire and add new jobs as many times as you wish, but you will not be able to post more than 5 active jobs.

The Free Membership varies from 1 to 5 job postings because our system adjusts the number based on usage. Generally, those who post more, get more. At no cost, Free members can increase their Job Posting Slots to 10 by upgrading to Enhanced status simply by adding a link to JobsCity.NET from your company homepage.

The number of Job Posting Slots included in the Basic Membership is 10, and 20 for Premium Membership. Paid members can increase their limit above the set package by paying an extra US$20/monthly per additional job.

SPECIAL

Target Alumni.NET Schools

JobsCity.NET has partnered with Alumni.NET (3.5 million+ users) to provide Basic and Premium Members a means to target the alumni of specific schools. For example, you can choose to have a particular job appear in the UC Berkeley, Michigan State and Naval Academy school community pages of the popular Alumni.NET. This is a great method to target highly educated passive job-seekers.

Homepage Link

Premium Members and Basic Members are granted the special feature of having their company's URL linked on their company profile.

Applicant Redirection

Premium Members have the additional feature of redirecting applicants to the member's own web site application process form.

Banner Ads When Logged In

Paid Members (Basic and Premium) will not see banner advertisements when they are logged in, which means less clutter and faster page load speeds. To help support JobsCity.NET, banner and pop-under advertisements will be shown for Free Members.

CANCEL MEMBERSHIP UPGRADE

To cancel your Upgraded Membership, simply notify us your desire to cancel at least 5 work days before the start of the next billing period, otherwise your Upgraded Membership will automatically renew for the next billing period. You can contact us by using our FEEDBACK FORM.

UPGRADE PROCEDURE (Non-Philippines)
