| Gather and organize information on problems or procedures related to insurance policy administration, retirement account servicing (e.g., 401(k), IRA), compliance controls, and client reporting systems. Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures, coordinating with underwriting, compliance, finance, client service, and IT teams. Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding, evaluating operational efficiency, cost structures, processing accuracy, and risk management practices. Document findings and prepare recommendations for implementation of improved systems, procedures, or organizational changes, including enhancements to policy administration and retirement servicing platforms. Plan study of work problems and procedures, such as workflow optimization, interdepartmental information flow, cost analysis, and system integration initiatives. Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to assess unit functions, work methods, staffing utilization, and operational effectiveness. Review forms and reports and confer with management and users regarding format, distribution, and purpose to identify improvements in documentation and reporting processes.
