1. System Installation and Configuration (25%): Install and configure software and hardware systems, including servers, networks, and operating systems according to the organizational specifications and project planning requirements.
2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting (20%): Perform regular systems maintenance tasks, such as backing up data, patch management, and security checks, to ensure systems operate correctly. Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues.
3. Network Management (20%): Administer and manage LAN/WAN environment, including computer networks, network segments, intranets, and other communication systems.
4. Security and Access Control (5%): Set up accounts and workstations, monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements. Ensure systems are secure by managing firewall, antivirus systems, and update patches.
5. Performance Monitoring.
6. User Support and Training (5%).
7. Policy and Planning (5%): Assist in creating and managing backup and recovery policies and plans, and participate in disaster recovery and business continuity tests.
8. Documentation (5%).
9. Compliance and Standards (5%).
