DESCRIPTION: SULTAN KUDARAT MILLING & TRADING INC. (SKMTI) SKMTI was incorporated on June 9, 1986 when it acquired the Ballena Rice Mill from the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP). The company primarily engaged in rice milling, com and other agricultural products trading business, Caltex service station, and contract hauling. From and exclusive market outlet in Davao City where the Company disposes almost 99% of its rice milling production, the Company has successfully expanded its market as far as Metro Cebu, Dumaguete City, Zamboanga City, Cagayan De Oro City, Butuan City, Surigao City and other major market in the Southern Philippines area and even to Metro Manila. In 1995, the company expanded its trucking division when it acquired a hauling contract with Nestle Philippines, Inc. to haul its finished products.
