DESCRIPTION: CAMP Asia Inc. is a non-profit, non-stock NGO that facilitates Community Development and Social Enterprise thereby creating sustainable communities for Relocation Sites. CAMP has been working in the Philippines providing relief and support to families that had been forced to be relocated due to natural disasters, as well as Government urban development plans. CAMP aims to support these families through sustainable livelihoods. In 2011, CAMP started Towerville Project, as an initiative to establish two social enterprises i.e. sewing and baking, which will create employment that will bring hope for the people of Towerville, and for the establishment of self-sustaining livelihood. To date, CAMP's projects are concentrated in San Jose Del Monte Bulacan specifically in Towerville Relocation Site Phase 1-5 in Minuyan and Phase-6 in Gaya-gaya, providing services in the field of Health, Education, and Livelihood. | |
