DESCRIPTION: Advance Marketing commenced as modest importers of quality used vehicle spare parts from Japan and distributed them to local dealers. In just about a year or two, we started importing use completely knocked Down (CKD) truck units, mostly Isuzu, Fuso, and Hino brands from Japan, and assembled them. They were sold on retail and wholesale basis. And as soon government relaxed its surplus import policies, we started importing use Completely Built Up (CBU) Japanese trucks and vans via SBMA duty free zone. These units were slightly reconditioned and sold in our showroom and on wholesale basis to our network of dealers nationwide. However, just after few years and a change of government leadership, government altered its stand and restricted the influx of Japanese used vehicles. Business then went unfavorable prompting our company to focus on our tire distribution business. | |
