DESCRIPTION: HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE OF THE COMPANIES With its principal place of business in Sta. Mesa Heights, Quezon City, Philippines, Rex Book Store, Inc. (RBSI) has risen from its humble beginning on Azcarraga Street (now C. M Recto Avenue) to become one of the country's biggest textbook publishers with expertly designed comprehensive line of educational materials from textbooks, reference books, journals and e-materials from pre-elementary up to post collegiate including its highly acknowledged legal publications. At present, it has twenty five (25) branches and/ or showrooms to serve our clients' requirements nationwide. It has published to date six thousand two hundred twenty six (6226) titles where forty five percent (45%) thereof is considered active. The year 1950 marked the establishment of RBSI.
