DESCRIPTION: In the mid-30s of the twentieth century, the Government decided to build a refinery near Moscow to supply the capital and the area of motor fuel and bitumen. Working nonstop, the Javon Oil & Gas processed around 400 million tonnes of crude oil, continually keeping security in Moscow in the interests of its residents. Strategic direction of its current activities and development is the integration of industrial and environmental policies of the Government of Moscow. For 65 years the plant was producing only unleaded gasoline, the first in the country has mastered the high-octane gasoline AI-93 with no lead antiknock. Essential to protect the basin of the Moskva River was the termination of oil transportation by water transport, as well as the elimination of discharge of treated wastewater into the pond.
