DESCRIPTION: The company was established in December 1997. It was formerly known as Philippine Automotive Chemicals Manufacturing, Inc. and solely owned by Mitsubishi Corporation using the products of Kansai Paint Co., Ltd and Thai Kansai Paint Co. Ltd., as means of trading and technical services. With the collective efforts of management and associates, Kansai Paint Philippines Inc., was established in June 2002. Kansai Paint Co., Ltd. bought 70% and 30% remain as share of Mitsubishi Corporation. The company widens its outsourcing by using local products through its suppliers or their business partners as well as business tie-ups abroad such as Kawakami Paint Manufacturing, Co. Ltd., Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, Kansai Paint Singapore and PT Kansai Paint Indonesia. October 2009, Kansai Paint Paint Co. Ltd. gain the 100% ownership of Kansai Paint Philippines, Inc. | |
