DESCRIPTION: ITI engages in air taxi and air charter operations utilizing two German-made 19 seat Dornier 228-212 aircraft. It has an aircraft maintenance hangar and an exclusive passenger lounge. ITI operates a private airport at El Nido, Palawan and is the air service provider for the EL Nido Resorts guests. It serves the local community in El Nido and is committed in helping protect the environment and conserve the natural resources and beauty of the area by charging a conservation fee. Although the company itself is relatively young, the officers and employees of ITI have extensive aviation experience gained from the airlines, general, corporate and military aviation. Its pilots and mechanics are trained in Germany and undergo regular recurrency training as approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP). | |
