DESCRIPTION: Our primary roles in Security Services are: ¿ Force protection operations ¿ Security and patrol operations ¿ Residential security operations ¿ Emergency and contingency response ¿ Entry control and checkpoint operations The majority of positions in Security Services are Force Protection Officers (FPOs). These officers perform security duties at various Area Support Group-Kuwait (ASG-KU) installations in Kuwait. FPO duties include: ¿ conducting complete interior and exterior searches of all vehicles entering military installations; ¿ conducting access control at military installation gates to prevent unauthorized entries; ¿ single occupant vehicle patrol; ¿ static surveillance from HMMWV vehicles or towers to observe entry procedures at installation entry points. | |
