It started as the Communications Management Services Division of Century Properties Management, Inc. (CPMI) providing voice, video and data infrastructure and services to high-rise buildings managed by CPMI. CAC was later formed into an independent entity in 1998 with its initial service branded as Hi-Wire. To enhance and expand its services, CAC launched BIG Internet in 2000.BIG was launched primarily to support the remote data access requirements and dial-up internet needs of building tenants. It combines the best features of both unlimited and unmetered dial-up internet packages.
