DESCRIPTION: - Maintain production database systems. - Assist developers with sandbox systems where required. - Monitor production database performance and tune databases as needed. - Work very close with Database Engineer to implement designed systems and to re-architect existing systems. - Ensure availability of production databases in accordance with service level agreements. - Correct problems in databases quickly and correctly. - Offer assistance to developers in tuning database queries in development systems. - Produce reports and maintain documentation as required pertaining to Database Administrator. | |
