Thru the POEA (Philippine Overseas Employment Administration), the Philippine government gave Abba, in two consecutive instances (2002 and 2005), the special citation of Top Agency Performance Award. The award is "based on volume of deployment, compliance with recruitment laws and rules, technical capability and welfare programs and allied services". Since its beginnings in 1998, Abba has deployed more than 5,000 workers all over the world. Abba has given overseas employment to nurses, doctors, laboratory techs, food service workers, programmers and computer engineers, construction people, teachers, carpenters, masons, maintenance personnel.
