DESCRIPTION: The Center is a federally qualified community health center whose mission is designed to provide quality, affordable and accessible healthcare to the residents of area communities, targeting the medically underserved in of Inkster, Taylor, Romulus and surrounding areas. Over a two-year period, this partnership developed a community plan that was subsequently submitted to the federal government that was approved and funded on the first round. That is unusual and a true testament to the quality of the community partnership. The grant we receive from the federal Bureau for Primary Healthcare is intended to subsidize the cost of providing discounted quality and affordable healthcare to the medically indigent residents of our community. | |
