DESCRIPTION: FANTASY WORLDWIDE is a not-for-profit competitive film festival with Awards for Best Feature Film, Best Short, Best Documentary and Best Animation. Other Awards include: The Peopleâ¿¿s Choice and Special Recognition for a Local (Canadian) Filmmaker. FANTASY WORLDWIDE is the first film festival in the world bringing together World Mythology, Fantasy (except for Horror), Mysticism, Magical Realism, Science Fiction, Historical Fiction, Legend and Archetype. The festival accepts films of all lengths, from independent projects to block busters. All filmmakers welcome: from beginners to veterans. With major news coverage from the most prominent media, reaching over 6 million people, the first annual FANTASY WORLDWIDE (in November2005) Film Festival was a great success.
