TMI has investments in South Africa , Guinea , Malawi , Bangladesh , Sri Lanka , Thailand and Cambodia .TMI overseas investments contributed approximately 30% to the Group's profit after tax which stood at RM300 million . Most of the telecommunication services provided at its overseas ventures is the GSM cellular services . TMI has continue to focus on further strengthening the financial performance of the current investments and have seek new markets/investments on selective basis with primary focus on creating shareholders value .Potential new markets include those in Indonesia , Myanmmar , Cambodia , India , Pakistan , Iran and Maldives .
