DESCRIPTION: From 1960 to currently, Nor-Cal has mostly prospered as a metal fabricating industry.Most of the earlier industries serviced by Nor-Cal has since moved away from the bay area. Nor-Cal expanded their services in anticipation of these changes and has developed a broader base of industries primarily in the greater bay area, but not soley. One of the areas of expansion are in the telecommunications fields providing installation products. In that area Nor-Cal has experienced a slow down which resulted in the lay-off of some employees in that area. Nor-Cal Metal Fabricators continue to purchase new top of the line fabricating equipment to better meet the customers' needs in quality and timely services.
