DESCRIPTION: Details of work done by digital.art.media(DAM) in Koi Mil Gaya The deciding factor, for producer / director, Rakesh Roshan, when it came to choosing a company capable of producing the VFX for his film "Koi...Mil Gaya", came, when, after a search which had taken him to Australia and elsewhere - he discovered that D.A.M had been involved in the VFX for "Independence Day" - the story goes that on learning this he shouted "Koi...Mil Gaya !" - "I"ve found someone !". Creative considerations were not the only issue at the forefront of making a decision - cost was also a high priority, & both criteria were answered by D.A.Ms Santa Monica, California base and D.A.Ms Indian location in Bangalore, South India, respectively, in the latter case capable of offering the same high quality at approx a quarter of the cost available elsewhere. | |
