DESCRIPTION: The City Charter provides for a council-manager form of government. The City has nine major departments, supports a staff of 650 full-time equivalent employees. The current organizational structure includes an Assistant City Manager/Chief Financial Officer, plus the following major departments: Administration, Planning and Community Development, Finance, Library, Police, Fire, Parks & Recreation, Human Resources, and Public Works (Engineering and Development, Utilities, Transportation Services).
