DESCRIPTION: Cocoplans is a member of the UNITED COCONUT PLANTERS BANK GROUP. It was organized in May 1993 and officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on July 5, 1993. Marketing activities for its pension packages commenced in June 1994.Cocoplans was launched to the Filipino public on October 18, 1994 initially targeting the Metro Manila market. A year later, its second group of packages, the education plans became available to the consumers. Since then, the company experienced a most enviable rise to pre-need prominence. In a field of over 80 pre-need players, the company now ranks among the top ten-a tremendous achievement for a company still flexing its corporate muscle. | |
