DESCRIPTION: ASM is a State Licensed massage school offering a 650-hour program based in Orthopedic Massage and Syntropy Neuromuscular Repatterning. Our broad-based holistic curriculum includes introductory training in Swedish and Thai Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Healing Chi Kung, Yoga & Movement Therapy, as well as complete hands-on and theoretical Anatomy & Physiology, Kineseology, and Pathology. Supplemental classes include in Intro to Chinese Medicine, Listening and Communication and Business Practices. All students spend 148 hours treating clients in our full-service Student Clinic. Many students choose to add additional certification to their diploma. Extended Studies options include: Certification in Visionary Craniosacral Work, Phase One & Two Certification in Syntropy Insight Bodywork, Ohashiatsu Level One Certification, a Traditional Thai Massage Certificate and Advanced Orthopedic Massage training. Our graduates are prepared to take the NCE and most state licensing exams. | |
