DESCRIPTION: Poverty reduction is central to the work of the United Nations Development Programme. In the Pacific, its Poverty Reduction through Access to Justice for All (PRAJA) project addresses poverty through a rights based approach. PRAJA is a 3-year project, which began in April 2002 and implemented by the Regional Rights Resource Team (RRRT). The UNDP Fiji Multi Country Office seeks to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the PRAJA Project Manager (PM). This is a unique opportunity to lead a pioneering Pacific human rights training and consulting organization that¿s committed to advancing equitable development and social justice. In addition the successful applicant will have the challenge of leading RRRT towards autonomy and financial sustainability by growing its nascent consulting practice. | |
