DESCRIPTION: Shantou University, a comprehensive university in Guangdong, was founded in 1981 with the approval of the State Council. It is situated on the northern outskirts of Shantou, a picturesque coastal city. Its campus covers an area of 1.26 sq. km and has a student population of over 7,000. Shantou University is composed of nine schools and colleges, namely, College of Liberal Arts, Science, Engineering, Fine Arts, Medical College, Law School, Business School, Journalism and Communication, and Continuing Education. The English Language Center (ELC) at Shantou Unviersity is dedicated to excellence in teaching and resources in order to create a supportive English language learning environment. We therefore seek English teachers with TESOL qualifications for classroom instruction, and high student/university graduates who are interested to become student activities coordinators. | |
