DESCRIPTION: Fresno County Child Care Resource & Referral agency. Innovative programs assist parents seeking child care; subsidized child care; nutrition program; assist indivudals to beome child care providers; training, support, toy lending library, resources for providers & parents. Children and Families project empowers community residents through community building. Extrememly collaborative and interactive with community partners. Program to financially reward providers for continuing educ units/training. Establishing program with model child care demonstration sites. We offer quality services free of charge to families throughout Fresno County. Many Fresno County families are now well educated and live in poverty. We not only offer families the resources they need in a respectful and success-oriented way, we teach them how to access the resources themselves, thus building sustainability into their success and increasing their self confidence. | |
