DESCRIPTION: MyTag started out as a small town computer supply company located in the Beaumont, MS area during the summer of 1997. We quickly got frustrated when we realized that we did not have an Internet provider with a local access number for our home-town. We had to pay long distance charges to gain access to the net. After nearly 1 year of research and development we realized that we had the capabilities of providing local access in our area. We decided not to stop at our home-town so we set out to provide nationwide Internet access for everybody that we knew did not already have a local access provider. As the demand got larger we decided to provide even more and more access points across the nation. We rapidly expanded because we did not want to congest our networks so easily. We signed contracts with our nation's backbone network to provide the most reliable Internet access available. Because of our rapid growth on the Internet we need a few extra hands to sell our services. | |
