DESCRIPTION: Transportation Center for Excellence (TCE) trains truck drivers in compliance with the Department of Transportation's (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR). Professional Truck Driver Institute (PTDI) books and testing materials are used. TCE training includes Class A permit test preparation, safety, vehicle systems, pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection, coupling and uncoupling tractor-trailer units, shifting, turning, backing, extensive city and highway driving, hours of service, trip planning, hazardous materials (hazmat), professionalism, business and personal finance, and job seeking skills and strategies. At the end of training you will take your Class 'A' CDL test. Upon graduation, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, Transcript and National Safety Council Defensive Driving - Professional Truck Driver Certificate. Job placement help is available for graduates of TCE's training program! | |
