DESCRIPTION: EMILY's List has changed the dynamic for pro-choice Democratic women. Our first solution was to raise early money (Early Money Is Like Yeast...EMILY) by creating a donor network of members who could contribute directly to viable pro-choice Democratic women candidates. That idea proved so powerful that, within five election cycles, support from members enabled EMILY's List to grow into a full-service political organization. By the 2002 elections, EMILY's List has grown into a political powerhouse, raising more money for candidates than any other political action committee in the country. The Fundraising Analyst works closely with the deputy development director to create, update and monitor income projections for EMILY¿s List direct marketing programs; oversees the operations of the organization¿s telemarketing program; and also assists in the creation and verification of all file cuts and instructions. | |
