DESCRIPTION: The Synaptic Corporation was formed in February 1990 and is engaged in the research, development, testing, manufacture, and marketing of electronic pain control devices based on the Company's proprietary technology known as Synaptic Electronic Activation (SEA). SEA initates near-term anesthesia and longer-term analgesia for the treated sites The Company completed its first production run of its initial product Dial Away® Pain 400 in 1991 after it obtained approval from the Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") in April 1991 to manufacture and market the device to licensed practitioners. At present, the Company is manufacturing the Synaptic 3000 Series which includes a new pre market approval and expanded indications such as controlling depression anxiety and insomnia. The Company's SEA technology is protected by three separate U.S. Patents. | |
