DESCRIPTION: The Department of Psychology, Mississippi State Hospital, is currently seeking applications for a full-time psychologist for the Forensic Services Unit. Applicants must have a Ph.D./Psy.D. from an APA accredited program and internship, 12-24 months experience, and be licensed or license-eligible in the State of Mississippi. Salary is competitive and includes benefit package including health/dental and paid time off. Responsibilities include: performing forensic evaluations to include psychometric testing and report writing; providing effective expert witness testimony; providing direct treatment to pre-trial patients; supervising psychology graduate students and performing other related duties. Applicants will be rated on the basis of an evaluation of their training, experience, and education.
