DESCRIPTION: Child Development Resources is a private, nonprofit agency founded in 1966 with a dual mission -- to provide services for young children and their families, and to provide training at the local, state, regional, and national levels for early childhood and early intervention professionals. Training for early childhood professionals nationwide, including physicians, nurses and nurse practitioners, educators, child care workers, and members of early intervention teams nationwide with support from grants and contracts. CDR is governed by a volunteer board of directors, and has a staff of ninety. A United Way agency, CDR raises private contributions to support services for infants and toddlers. | |
