DESCRIPTION: In the world of trucking, I might be considered an Owner/Operator, except I own no truck. I transport trucks from coast-to-coast as an independant contractor. I am looking for a "driver's helper" who can assist with both the putting together and taking apart of the trucks (they are transported 2-3 at a time; "piggy-back"). This would not be terribly difficult work and would involve a lot of traveling. Also required would be assistence with occassional rental car driving between jobs. Hence, a valid regular driver's licence is needed and willingness to travel for extended periods of time of as much as 2 to 3 weeks on the road. This would be the sort of position, I believe, someone just out of school for the summer might want to consider as a summer job which would include seeing the country in a rather unique way.
