DESCRIPTION: The British and American Studies (BAS) Programme, an international bachelor¿s degree programme of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University, has openings for two full-time teaching appointments in History, Political Studies, Literature or related fields, with a concentration in the British or the American tradition. The applicants must be native speakers of English (i.e. UK or US citizens) who can provide proof of academic and professional achievements from well-recognised institutions. Demonstrated experience in teaching would be a definite advantage. The salary (housing allowance included) is commensurate with the highest degree obtained: 30,000 baht per month for BA holders, 35,000 baht per month for MA holders and 40,000 baht per month for PhD holders. The contract is renewable on a yearly basis. The application period is open until these two positions are filled. The start date of employment is 4 August 2003.
