DESCRIPTION: Theobald Bufano + Associates has been offering structural engineering services since 1958 from our offices in downtown Washington. We provide a full range of services from pre-design consultation through design documents to construction phase services including full inspection. We have worked for clients nationwide in addition to those in the Metropolitan area while designing projects utilizing all major types of construction materials and techniques. Our extensive experience in the design of commercial, educational, and government facilities provides us with an ability to provide unique structural systems to specific architectural designs that will result in a cost effective building structure. In addition to new construction, the firm has been involved in an extensive amount of building renovations, alterations, and repairs. This experience provides us with the background to consider durability during the design of the structure. | |
