DESCRIPTION: The University of North Dakota is a medium-sized, comprehensive liberal arts university located in Grand Forks, a classic college town. With 150 programs of study and 11,764 students, UND attracts students from every state in the nation and more than 40 countries. Our students praise UND for offering academic excellence, a wide range of opportunities, and a vigorous, exciting environment with individual attention from professors. Nearly all the University's new students rank in the top half of their high school classes, with about half in the top quarter. UND graduates are highly regarded by prospective employers, and work all over the nation and world. The 550-acre campus, known for its beauty, has more than 220 buildings which range from classic collegiate architecture to ultra-modern. Grand Forks, on the North Dakota-Minnesota border, offers four distinct seasons and a safe, fun atmosphere with plenty of restaurants, shopping, and recreation. | |
