DESCRIPTION: Edwin Gould Services for Children and Families with the combined efforts of the community of care resulted in the recognizable transformation of an organization as it addressed identified problems within the foster care programs. During the past year, Edwin Gould Services for Children and Families turned adversity into an opportunity for growth and is therefore proud of its performance. All programs and services provided disadvantaged children with the support and nurturing that they needed for a happy and safe childhood, families with safe homes and coping skills, young people with the tools needed for a productive adulthood, and an array of supplemental services to support and measure achievement. Congratulations are in order for social workers and caseworkers who each day accomplish special miracles for the children placed within the agency. The challenge has been that the After Care progrm is designed to serve the same age group in the TANF program. We are proud of these programs. | |
