DESCRIPTION: The ST. CECILIA POLYCLINIC started as a one-man, one-employee medical clinic along T. Morato Street in Quezon City in 1981 under its former name STO. NIÑO NG LAGING SAKLOLO. This primarily took care of the medical needs of the people residing in the immediate environment. Since it is a mixed-up of the high and low-income families, we devised a medical program that benefited both classes of people. For the low-income families, a health program was planned wherein a family is enrolled for a certain period of time with a minimal monthly fee which took care of all their medical expenses without limit for medical consultations. This clinic became a part of the Non Government Organization that promotes the health and well-being of our least fortunate Filipino by providing them an access to a quality medical services at a least minimal expenses. In 1985, we acquired an accredited clinic by the DOH & POEA for overseas workers paving the way for the establishment of our present clinic. | |
