DESCRIPTION: NIH-Funded Study seeking: Conduct Random Digit Dialing (RDD) telephone procedures in support of a NIH-funded epidemiological research study about the sleep disorder, narcolepsy. Work from your home using a telephone script to identify control subjects in King County, WA; pilot telephone scripts and screen prospective subjects to determine eligibility according to research protocol screening criteria. Briefly explain the study and screen households for eligible control subjects. Generate control subject folders; record subject and call information onto worksheets. The high volume of telephone work requires fluency in spoken English, a clear, mature, and pleasant sounding voice and an interest in research. Calls will continue until all eligible 1350 control subjects are found. | |
