DESCRIPTION: EdVoice is a statewide, grassroots organization advocating for education reform and support for public education. There are a number of education advocacy organizations at the school-site, district, and regional level. But it's often forgotten that the vast majority of education policy and education resources are actually determined by laws passed in Sacramento. Most of these decisions are made with little input from parents and community leaders. EdVoice provides the tools for you to be heard. Like successful grassroots organizations covering other issues (such as AARP, Sierra Club, EDF, NRA and AIPAC), EdVoice is a powerful grassroots force for improving education in California. | |
