DESCRIPTION: The Monroe Center is a neighborhood community center. We are directed by the Board of Trustees for the CC4W/ Concerned Citizens of the Fourth Ward, Inc. We endeavor to promote programs for our local community, primarily the Belden School area. Our focus is on community awareness, neighborhood improvement, youth and Seniors programs. We hold open community meetings to discuss neighborhood problems and solutions on the 2nd Sat. of every month @ 12:30PM. We are funded through donations and grants. We depend on volunteers to help with most of our programs. The office is open from 10AM-3PM, M-F. | |
