DESCRIPTION: Laguna Lake Development Auththority is a government agency under Department of Environment and Natural Natural Resources (DENR). LLDA was established on 1965 as a regulating body, which covered all tributary rivers of Laguna Lake. It also make sure that the water is treated begore it is discharge to the tributary rivers of Laguna Lake. LLDA functions as a regulating body inorder to abate pollution specifically for water. It also monitors if the company comply with the standard set by the governing agency. Thus, imposing an Environmental User Fee for company's discharge to lessened company's contribution for water pollution.LLDA also issues Clearance to the projects within its jurisdiction, it monitors the proposed and the existing project, inorder to ensure the safety of the Environment. | |
