DESCRIPTION: POSITION VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR - The Petersburg Economic Development Council (PEDC) of Petersburg Alaska, a non-profit, community-based organization seeks applicants for a recently created Economic Development Coordinator (EDC) position. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. The pay range is $40,000-60,000 per year, with a final salary depending on the applicant¿s qualifications. The EDC will report to the PEDC Board of Directors, which consists of nine members. DUTIES ¿ The EDC will perform professional management and administrative work in planning, organizing, coordinating and directing economic development programs. In doing so, the EDC will promote the goals and objectives established by the Board through community input and the Petersburg Strategic Development Plan.
