DESCRIPTION: Nova Developments Corp. is a newly established affiliate of Nova Construction (1994) Ltd., a successful building construction company operating in the Northwest Territories. The owner of both companies recently formed Nova Developments Corp. to develop residential multi-unit properties (apartment complexes, condominium projects, etc.)in Edmonton, Alberta. The company first purchases the land, then acts as general contractor and hires various subcontractors to construct the buildings and ultimately sells (or rents) the individual units following completion. At present, the company is in the framing stage with respect to the construction of an 88 unit apartment complex in Fort Saskatchewan and is in the planning stage with respect to the development of four more major building projects in Edmonton next year. The company has already purchased enought property in Edmonton to accomodate 10 or 11 major construction projects. | |
