DESCRIPTION: Under close supervision of president, assist in the following duties: using new technology, studies the distribution and intensity of precipitation, evaluates and compares the radar rainfall estimates with ground rain gage data, develops proper algorithms to improve the accuracy of radar rainfall estimates, provides gage-adjusted radar estimates data to different customers for different purposes such as flood and drought forecasting, evaporation study, and drainage and irrigation design. Minimum Requirement: B.S. in civil & environmental engineering or meteorology required. No work experience required. | |
