DESCRIPTION: Environmental resource permitting position with a small marine and environmental consulting firm, Naples, Florida. Experience with marine facilities required (this may be from an educational or a technical/construction background) as duties will include dock design and marine fieldwork. Computer skills are essential, preferably AutoCad as it will be a required tool. An understanding of both the environment and regulatory (federal, state and local levels) framework in Florida and local experience is desired. Knowledge of terrestrial biology including wetland plants and animals would be a plus. Candidates should be flexible team players and proficient communicators, able to work with minimal supervision.
