DESCRIPTION: Trover Foundation is a fully integrated, not-for-profit health care system made up of the following major divisions. Regional Medical Center a 410 bed acute care facility that is designated as a regional referral center for Western Kentucky. Trover Clinic, includes 100+ physicians, 9 satilite clincs located in Western KY, and 3 sports medicine and rehab facilities. Education Division which includes West Area Health Education Center, which offers a full range of medical education and research. The Trover Foundation/University of Louisville Off Campus Teaching Center offers medical students from UofL the opportunity to complete the last two years of medical school in a rural community. Trover Foundation also offers the only program in Kentucky for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. After completing this program, graduates hold a masters of science dgree throught Murray State University. | |
