DESCRIPTION: ABOUT THE DELTA LODGE AT KANANASKIS Kananaskis Village is set amongst some of the most awesome scenery in the world. Surrounded by the Canadian Rocky Mountains, the village is just one hour South West of Calgary and 45 minutes East of Banff. The Lodge was originally built for the 1988 Winter Olympics, and now is host to visitors from all around the world. Two buildings, The Lodge and the John Palliser Manor provide 321 luxurious rooms, 6 extensive dining outlets, including Seasons (awarded 4 diamond status), complete meeting space, conventions and recreation facilities. In July 2000, we were thrilled to unveil the new Summit Spa & Fitness Center which offers utmost relaxation and rejuvenation for guests and employees and state of the art exercise equipment. As well, Delta Hotels was recently recognized by the Globe and Mail as one of the top 35 companies to work for in Canada and the only Hotel company recognized!
