DESCRIPTION: Cable in the Classroom provides FREE educational television programs and Internet resources to classroom teachers, along with training in how to use those resources effectively with their students. Television programs include more than 500 hours per month of programs that are educational, commercial-free, and copyright-cleared. Internet resources are provided by the 40 program networks and include lesson plans, student study materials, and links to other educational sites. Training consists of hands-on workshops on effective uses of Internet and other resources in the classroom. Online workshops are in development. | |
