DESCRIPTION: Simply stated, Kronos' goal is to help people achieve optimal health and maintain it as they age. Kronos medicine focuses on reducing the risks of age-related disease and optimizing the process of healthy aging. Kronos' research indicates that aging is a process that can be managed medically. This is the emerging science of Clinical Age Management. Our prime focus is for our patients to achieve their optimal health. Functional and laboratory testing allows us to measure more than 150 biomarkers of aging including metabolic indicators and other benchmarks. We can evaluate cardiovascular risk, cancer risk, liver function, renal function, hormonal balance and oxidative stress to understand a patient's existing conditions and uncover factors that may lead to serious age-related disease. With this scientific guidance, and the patient's commitment, we believe we can successfully intervene in the process of aging, and return to our patients a sense of control over their own health. | |
