DESCRIPTION: Animator/ Graphics Designer Wanted Job Purpose: Create 3D character models, under the direction of the Lead Artist, which meet the quality, originality and creative standards of LDI. Major Responsibilities: · Polygonal character modeling and texturing. · Conceptualize and create models under the art direction of the Lead Artist. · Must be adaptable to the artistic style as set by the Lead Artist. · Must demonstrate a superior understanding of both high-poly and low-poly modeling. · Contribute innovative and original ideas to the models in the areas of design and development, modeling, texturing and production process. · Maintain strong knowledge of innovative game production technologies and the capabilities/limitations of these technologies as they relate to the project goals. · Work closely with production team to meet deadlines. · Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. | MISSION: Qualifications: · A portfolio that demonstrates an excellent breadth of drawing skills with the ability to set/follow a strong style ranging from realism, sci-fi, to cartoon. Portfolio must also demonstrate excellence in: modeling, texturing and figure drawing. · Advanced skills required with at least one of the following applications: Maya Softimage, 3DStudio Max, Flash 4, Photoshop and Lightwave. · Experience with Maya Modeling tools preferred. | |
